When I cleared out my office in pasadena I found an old disposable camera, I just got the pics developed and what did they behold? The fuckin' pudding off. I'll have to get digital images and put them up. They're pretty grainy, but still good. Already making a good impression here in CS. CT was in town last night and invited me to an Oktoberfest party with some people from the chem department. I wore my lederhosen in an attempt to make a splash at my first social function, but apparently it didn't go over like I intended which was made apparent when some dude told me that I would have a blast with him next week and the renfair. I quickly responded, "no, you don't understand, I already lost my virginity" at which point he gave me an odd look and walked off. Not sure that I'm going over too well. Thursday, September 04, 2008

how have I lived my life thus far and never heard of the international competition that rewards the winner with his wife's weight in beer? Finished moving, turned the truck in, had some taco casa and now I'm trying to get used to this somewhat bizarre section of the country. Thanks to everyone who helped move and I hope to see everyone soon. Keep in touch. Phone and new email will not change. ps: just got a wii as an early 30th birthday present so shouldn't go completely insane at my parents place for the next month. |
